For shoppers searching for a LEGO Zelda Great Deku Tree set, the Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 (77092) is the direct match: it puts the iconic forest guardian at the center and lets you choose between two builds. The Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle (77093) takes a different route, staging Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf around a brick-built Ganon. I rank the Great Deku Tree first for its close fit to the search and its two display options; the battle set is a stronger choice for fans who want a character-filled scene. The main tradeoff is clear: choose a tree-focused centerpiece or a compact action tableau.

These sets suit different kinds of Zelda displays. The Great Deku Tree is the more focused tribute, while The Final Battle shifts attention to a specific confrontation from Ocarina of Time. I’d choose based on the scene you most want to keep on view, how much you value build flexibility, and whether you prefer one large focal subject or several characters together.

More Details on Our Top Picks
LEGO The Legend of Zelda Great Deku Tree 2-in-1
If your search starts with the Great Deku Tree, this is the straightforward choice. The set’s defining subject is the guardian tree from The Legend of Zelda, so it gives a collection a focal point that The Final Battle cannot provide. Its other distinction is the 2-in-1 build format: builders can choose between two versions instead of being limited to a single configuration.
That flexibility is useful when choosing a display look, but it comes with a real compromise. The two build options require a choice about which version to present, so a buyer who wants both configurations displayed at once may find the format less satisfying. The product details supplied here do not state dimensions, piece count, or which version is more involved, so I would not use those factors to compare it with the 1,003-piece battle scene.
Compared with 77093, the Great Deku Tree set is more tightly aligned with a single beloved subject and has the clearer claim as a tree-focused tribute. The Final Battle offers more named characters and interactive scene details, which may make it the more engaging pick for a fan of that particular encounter. I’d choose 77092 for the subject and build choice; skip it if your priority is a multi-character Ocarina of Time scene.
Pros:- Centers the Great Deku Tree, matching the specific subject in the search.
- Two build options allow a choice of display configuration.
- Carries The Legend of Zelda branding and a recognizable series subject.
Cons:- The two configurations mean choosing which version to display.
- The supplied product details do not specify dimensions or piece count for planning a build or shelf.
Best for: Zelda fans who want the Great Deku Tree itself to anchor a LEGO display and appreciate having two build configurations to choose from.
Not ideal for: Collectors who want both versions on display at once, or shoppers whose main goal is a character-packed Ocarina of Time battle scene.

Our verdict“I’d make this the first choice for a buyer who wants a LEGO Great Deku Tree display and values a choice of build configuration.”
LEGO The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle (77093)
This set earns its place as the alternate pick by offering a very different kind of Zelda display. Instead of making the Great Deku Tree the centerpiece, 77093 recreates the final battle with Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf minifigures, a brick-built Ganon, Navi, and castle ruins. The result is a character-led scene with several recognizable figures in one composition.
The set also adds interactive details, including movable rubble and a button that raises Ganondorf. Those features give the scene a sense of action beyond a fixed arrangement, while the listed size—about 17 cm high, 29 cm wide, and 18 cm deep—gives buyers concrete shelf-planning information. Its 1,003 pieces and 18+ recommendation position it as a substantial adult display build.
Against the Great Deku Tree 2-in-1, this one offers more named characters and a specific game moment, but it does not answer the tree-centered search as directly. A buyer seeking the Deku Tree should put 77092 first; a collector who already has tree-focused pieces or favors the Ocarina of Time climax may prefer this set. Its defined battle setting is also a limitation: it is less suited to someone who wants a nature-themed centerpiece or a flexible interpretation of the tree.
Pros:- Includes five recognizable characters from Ocarina of Time.
- Movable rubble and a button that raises Ganondorf add interactive scene details.
- Stated dimensions make shelf planning more predictable.
- A 1,003-piece display build is aimed at adult fans.
Cons:- Its final battle subject is not a Great Deku Tree alternative.
- The defined castle-ruins scene offers a different display mood from a tree-centered model.
Best for: Adult Ocarina of Time fans who want Link, Zelda, Ganondorf, Ganon, and Navi together in an interactive battle display.
Not ideal for: Shoppers specifically seeking a Great Deku Tree model, or buyers who prefer a nature-focused display over a staged confrontation.
- Brand:LEGO
- Theme:The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
- Set name:The Final Battle
- Model number:77093
- Piece count:1,003
- Recommended age:18 years and up
- Characters:Link, Zelda, Ganondorf, Ganon, and Navi
- Dimensions:Over 6.5 in. (17 cm) high, 11 in. (29 cm) wide, and 7 in. (18 cm) deep
- Interactive details:Movable rubble and a button that raises Ganondorf
Our verdict“I’d choose 77093 for an adult fan who wants an interactive Ocarina of Time battle scene rather than a Great Deku Tree centerpiece.”
How We Picked
I ranked these two sets by how directly they answer the search for a LEGO Zelda Great Deku Tree set, then by what kind of display and building choice each offers. That puts 77092 first: the Great Deku Tree is its defining subject, and its 2-in-1 format gives the builder two ways to represent that subject. The tradeoff is that the two configurations are alternatives for display rather than two simultaneous tree models.
77093 ranks second for this specific search, even though it has a compelling case for Ocarina of Time collectors. Its central idea is the final battle, not the Great Deku Tree, so it is better treated as a related Zelda display than a substitute for the tree set. I weighed the supplied descriptions and specifications: subject, build flexibility, included characters, interactive elements, intended display use, and stated dimensions. I did not infer details that were not provided, such as the Great Deku Tree set’s piece count or dimensions.
This is a two-product comparison, so the roles reflect meaningful differences within this small lineup. One is the direct Great Deku Tree pick; the other is the scene-focused alternative. Neither is a general ranking of every LEGO Zelda set, and the order follows the title’s specific subject.

Factors to Consider When Choosing Lego Zelda Great Deku Tree Set
I’d begin by deciding what the centerpiece of your Zelda shelf should be. In this comparison, that choice matters more than a small difference in features: one set is built around the Great Deku Tree, while the other reconstructs a specific Ocarina of Time battle.
Choose the subject before the format
If the Great Deku Tree is the reason you are shopping, 77092 is the clear fit. Its two build options add a choice of presentation, but both options serve the tree-centered concept. The Final Battle serves a different collecting goal: putting Link, Zelda, Ganondorf, Ganon, and Navi into a single scene. I’d treat those as distinct display themes rather than interchangeable versions of one subject.
Decide whether you want flexibility or a fixed scene
The Great Deku Tree set’s 2-in-1 design gives builders an either-or choice of configuration. That can suit someone who enjoys selecting the look that best fits a shelf, while it may frustrate a collector who wants both versions displayed together. The Final Battle, by comparison, is organized around one encounter, with castle ruins and interactive details supporting that scene. Its set piece is more defined; the tree set offers the stated choice between two builds.
Use the listed dimensions to plan the display
The Final Battle measures over 17 cm high, 29 cm wide, and 18 cm deep, so its shelf footprint is known from the provided specifications. The Great Deku Tree product information here does not list dimensions, which makes a direct size comparison impossible from these details alone. If shelf fit is decisive, use the battle set’s measurements and confirm the tree set’s current listing before choosing a display location.
Match the build to the kind of fan you are buying for
For an adult Ocarina of Time fan who enjoys a recognizable confrontation, 77093 offers a 1,003-piece build, five characters, and movable scene elements. The Great Deku Tree set makes a more direct gift for someone attached to that character or who wants a tree-focused Zelda display. I’d base the decision on the recipient’s favorite subject, since the supplied information does not give a piece count or age recommendation for 77092.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which set is the LEGO Great Deku Tree set?
LEGO The Legend of Zelda Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 (77092) is the set in this comparison centered on the Great Deku Tree. It includes two build options, so the buyer can choose which version to construct and display. The Final Battle set is a related Zelda choice, but its subject is the Ocarina of Time confrontation.
How does the Great Deku Tree set compare with The Final Battle?
The Great Deku Tree set focuses on one iconic subject and offers two build configurations. The Final Battle presents a broader scene with Link, Zelda, Ganondorf, brick-built Ganon, Navi, castle ruins, movable rubble, and a button that raises Ganondorf. I’d choose based on whether a tree-centered tribute or a character-filled battle scene better suits your collection.
Can both Great Deku Tree build options be displayed at once?
The supplied product details describe a 2-in-1 design with two build options and note that the builder may need to choose which version to display. They do not say that both versions can be built and shown simultaneously from one set. If displaying both configurations is important, check the current product details before buying.
How much shelf space does The Final Battle need?
The listed dimensions are over 17 cm high, 29 cm wide, and 18 cm deep. Those measurements make it easier to check a shelf or cabinet before assembling the scene. No dimensions were supplied here for the Great Deku Tree set, so I can’t make a reliable side-by-side footprint comparison.
Which set makes a better gift for an Ocarina of Time fan?
For someone who most enjoys Ocarina of Time’s final confrontation, I’d lean toward 77093 because it brings together Link, Zelda, Ganondorf, Ganon, and Navi in a scene with interactive elements. For a fan whose favorite subject is the Great Deku Tree, 77092 is the more direct gift and adds the choice of two builds. The recipient’s favorite character or moment is the best guide between them.
Conclusion
I’d recommend the Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 (77092) to anyone shopping specifically for a LEGO Great Deku Tree centerpiece. Its subject matches the search, and its two build options let the owner select a preferred version. Choose the Final Battle (77093) if you are buying for an adult Ocarina of Time fan who wants several characters, an interactive battle scene, and stated dimensions for shelf planning. The decision comes down to the display you want: the guardian tree or the climactic confrontation.
