House Beautiful reported that Pooky Lighting’s Cecily and Primrose portable lamps were listed on Amazon for about $100 each, below the prices the outlet found on Pooky’s own site. Its writer bought the Primrose and described using it as a cordless kitchen light with a timer remote. Amazon availability, current prices and the reported battery life may change or vary.
Pooky Lighting’s Cecily and Primrose portable lamps were listed on Amazon for about $100 each, according to a House Beautiful shopping report, which says the writer bought and tested the Primrose. The report draws attention to a lower-priced way to shop the British lighting brand’s cordless designs, but it does not establish whether the listings or prices remain current.
The House Beautiful writer said a quick look at Pooky’s lighting range showed prices starting at $115 and rising above $200, making the brand’s portable fixtures a more expensive purchase. The writer then found two lamps on Amazon listed at roughly $100 apiece. The report describes them as Pooky products, though it does not provide seller details or independent verification of the listings.
The two styles highlighted are the Cecily, with a pleated shade and rounded base, and the Primrose, with a woven shade and scalloped details. House Beautiful says each comes in seven colorways. The writer bought the Primrose and placed it on a kitchen counter after charging its Genesis Cell light source.
In the writer’s account, the lamp provided a softer, localized light for kitchen tasks and could be moved around because it is cordless. The report also describes an included remote with 15-, 30- and 60-minute timer settings. It says the light source can reportedly hold a charge for up to 17 hours; that figure is presented as a product claim, not a measured result from the writer’s test.
A Lower-Priced Route to Pooky Lamps
The report matters to shoppers because it identifies an Amazon listing priced below the range House Beautiful found when browsing Pooky’s broader collection. A cordless lamp can be moved between rooms without relying on a nearby outlet, while a timer may help limit how long it stays on between uses. Those features could make a decorative light useful for everyday tasks, not just as a fixed accent.
However, the reported price is not a guarantee of a lasting discount or the lowest available price. Amazon listings can change, and the article does not state whether shipping, taxes, or seller variations affect the final cost. Readers comparing options should check the listing’s seller, product details, return terms and current price before buying.

Pooky’s Portable Lighting Range
House Beautiful describes Pooky as a British lighting brand that expanded into the U.S. market in 2024. The article says the company sells a range of lighting fixtures and has collaborated with Novogratz and Morris & Co. It singles out portable, rechargeable lamps as a popular part of the range, while noting that prices can exceed $200.
The source is a shopping report based on one writer’s purchase and home use, rather than a product-wide test or a statement from Pooky or Amazon. Its account supports that the writer found and bought the Primrose listing, but it does not provide a broader assessment of durability, charging performance or how the lamp compares with other portable lights.

Listing and Battery Details to Check
The supplied report does not give its publication date, Amazon seller names, product listing links, or confirmation from Pooky that the two listings were authorized. It also does not say whether the roughly $100 price was a temporary promotion, whether it included shipping, or whether both lamps were in stock when readers viewed the article.
The stated runtime of up to 17 hours is attributed as a reported capability, but the conditions behind that figure are not provided. The writer does not say how long the lamp lasted in her own use, how long charging took, or how performance changed with brightness settings. Current availability, pricing and product specifications remain unconfirmed by the source material.
Check Current Amazon Availability
Readers interested in either style should check Amazon for current stock, price, seller information and the exact model and accessories included. They can also compare those details with Pooky’s own product information before ordering. The House Beautiful report does not announce a future sale, a company response or a change to the brand’s retail plans, so no further development is confirmed.
